Mark, Justin & Alex - Our hearts are full with sadness over this great loss. Karen brought sunshine to all the lives she came in contact with. She always had a kind word or friendly hug for all. We will remember her smile forever! May the Lord hold her in the palm of his hands, and may you find comfort in the memories of her smile and grace.

I can call Karen "friend" as she called me "Aunt Yvette". I shall always remember her friendly embrace and hug.
The Liska parties will never be the same without her but her lovely smile and presence will always be in my heart. I hold you (Mark, Justin and Alex) in prayer as Karen joins the parade of angels.
In love and heartfelt sympathy.

I will miss our long phone conversations, seeing her at family functions, going out for something to eat, having her sitting next to me at school events, seeing her smile, hearing her laugh, sharing a story, giving her a hug, and hearing her tell me she loves me. She was my best friend and she will live forever in my heart.

Dear, Marc, Justin & Alex.
I'm so deeply sorry to hear the passing of your Wife and Mother. Karen was a great person. What I remember most about Karen is her working at Fileins. And all the picnics that I use to come to when I was a kid. And hanging out at your house with your Aunt Sharon.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Karen, I will miss your smile, your great laugh, the way we could talk like it was yesterday, even though often too many years had passed. I cherish the memories of going to prom, driving around in your Charger, washing your hair when you had stitches, your wedding, and all the laughs we shared. We were all lucky to have known you and to have seen the way you could light up a room. I will never forget you.
Keri Macdowall (Aunt, Godmother)
All my life Auntie has been such a positive influence. She was not only my Aunt and Godmother, but also my big sister, my second mom, and my friend. I have so many wonderful memories of how Auntie made me feel special- especially our tradition of going to The NUtcracker at Christmas time. She was always there for me with advice, especially during my pregnancy with Tyler and and when he was an infant. I will always share my memories with Tyler to let him know what a very special person his Godmother was and how very much she loved and adored him. I will miss Auntie Karen so very much. She will always have a special place in my heart and I will love her dearly forever.

Karen will always be remembered as a wonderful friend and classmate. We went to St Thomas Jr High School and Southington High School together but then had the opportunity to meet again when our kids went to St Thomas School... I enjoyed sharing those times as well as the summers lounging by the pool at Mountain Grove with Karen... My prayers are with Mark, Justin, and Alex... May God Bless You.

Mark, Justin and Alex.
Your wife and Mom was always a special
person. Being the youngest myself
I know she was more loved than most.
That love molded her into a beautiful
person. After losing my Christopher,
my baby, my friend and my
angel, I can only give you the advice
of keep loving her as if she was with you.
She is and always will be the biggest
part of all of you. When your sad and
really miss her, write a note, save it,
throw it away but just put your feelings
on paper. That is how I am able to
make it thru the day. Talk to her always
and talk to each other, you need each
more than ever.
Know that all your family and friends
myself included will always be with you
All my love and sympathy. Angie.
Mark, Justin & Alex,
I am so very sorry for Karen's passing and what you must be going through at this time. I remember Karen most from my teenage years in the late 70's - early 80's as Kristen's "cool and pretty aunt". I remember her Candies shoes and her extra crysteline nail polish, and how she thought nothing of letting Kristen and I hang out with her like she was a big sister. I remember the day Karen played us a song on her stereo in the little apartment on North Main St. that was attached to her Mom & Dad's place...It was "Moondance" by Van Morrison. And every single time I've heard it since that day Karen comes to mind. Mark, I remember the way her face looked when you danced to "Lady" at your wedding...
She was and always will be beautiful.
I was lucky to have been part of some special times within your family because of my friendship with Kristen, and although we have lost touch over the years, I have had each and every one of you in my thoughts and prayers these past days. Especially you Mark, Justin & Alex, but also Kristen, Sandy & Nick.
I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers, and I will forever remember Karen as I always have.

While I never knew Karen personally, I can see what an amazing woman she was in the two incredible boys she raised! May peace and comfort find you Justin during this incredibly difficult time. God love and bless you and your brother and father.

Always pretty. Always stylish. Always the best smile. Always generous. Always loved. Always "Auntie Karen".
It would be unfair to list only a few of the memories you have given me because you are included in every significant memory of my entire life.
I will always miss you!!!

Its hard for me to put into words what my Aunt Karen meant to me. I will begin by saying that she was not only my aunt, but she was also my friend and the closest thing to a sister to me. I remember being small and Auntie Karen taking me places with her and thinking that she was just the coolest person I knew. And as I grew older, that feeling stayed the same. She was my shopping-eating-concert-do anything together buddy. We always had a great time whatever we did. I could always count on her for anything at any time. That's just the kind of person she was...truly special. I will miss my aunt forever.
Marc Giusto (Nephew)
Auntie, You have always been and will continue to be a major part of my life. I called you "aunt" but you were more like a big sister to me. There are to many memories to mention, but one that stands out is when You, Mark, Trish and myself went to see Fleetwood Mac together. Thank you for all the goodtimes and all of your love.

My thoughts are with Karen's beautiful family. Karen was not only my hairdresser years ago but my friend. I remember our talks about her wedding and her great husband Mark. How happy she was. I had not seen Karen in years until we caught up with each other at our children.s graduation. Karen had a beautiful smile and great pearsonality. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Mark and her beautiful boys .
