Rosemary DiLeone

July 19, 1930 - March 13, 2010

WOLCOTT- Mrs. Rosemary (DiStefano) DiLeone,79, passed away on Saturday March 13, at Yale New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Anthony J. DiLeone.
Born in Waterbury on July 19, 1930, Rosemary was the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Marletta) DiStefano. She was a retired employee of the State of CT Dept. of Correction and a former employee of W.F. Kaynor Technical High School.
Rosemary was a cheerful person, she touched many people with her warmth and sense of humor. She was an avid NY Yankee and lady Huskey fan. She loved family gatherings, having a meal and sharing a laugh.
Besides her husband of 58 years, she will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Grace Anne and her husband Robert McKenna of Wolcott, Maria and her husband Martin Meehan of Bristol, Toni and her husband Michael O’Connell of Wolcott, her sister Lena D. Napolitano and her brother Sebastiano DiStefano both of Cheshire. She adored her six grandchildren Anthony and Lauren McKenna, Adam and Jeffrey Meehan, Olivia and Angelina O’Connell and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Lucy DiLeo.
Rosemary’s family would like to extend special thank you to all family and friends for their support and prayers during the time of her illness.

Funeral will be Wednesday 9 AM from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 .
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Wolcott Volunteer Ambulance Association.
