Biography

Southington – Elmer F. Niebler, 89, of Overlook Path, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at The Hospital of Central Ct. New Britain Campus. He was the husband of Sophie (Helkowski) Niebler.
Born May 30, 1920 in Long Island, NY, he was the son of the late Elmer F. and Rose (Dryer) Niebler Sr.
Elmer was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army. He was employed by the Fafnir Bearing Co. in New Britain until his retirement and was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church.
Besides his wife he leaves a son Thomas Niebler of Kensington, a sister Lucille Drager of FL and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at St. Dominic Church. Burial with military honors was in Oak Hill Cemetery. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington assisted the family with the arrangements.
